It’s become well-known that if things had turned out differently for 2 Chainz that he would probably have played in the NBA. Had it turned out like his career in rap had, 2 Chainz might’ve played in a few all-star games.

But, the “what ifs” are just ways of holding on to the past and 2 Chainz doesn’t do that because his future is bright. When he realized an album might not be logical for him when he was at DTP, he built a mixtape buzz. The mixtapes led to his own record deal and then he dropped two albums on the heels of each other.
