This season, the Atlanta Hawks were the surprise team of the NBA. One season after barely making the playoffs and getting in with a losing record, the Hawks took the league by storm. Following a slow start to the season, the Hawks ended up going on a 19 game winning streak.
Aside from their recent struggles, the Atlanta Hawks have played excellently for most of the season. Even with their current struggles, they are in no danger of losing first place in the East. With this, the Hawks have made some changes in the front office.
No doubt, 2 Chainz is one of Atlanta’s rap kings, but few people saw him heading up their NBA landscape. However, 2 Chainz visited the Hawks offices and there were rumors of him officially joining the team. Instead of playing for the team, 2 Chainz performed at halftime, and now he has taken on the role of CEO for the Hawks and he is going to make some big changes to the team.
