Based off his momentum from last year, 2 Chainz is tearing the game down right now, even if his buzz isn’t what it was last year. At that time, 2 Chainz was still a relatively new artists, now the game knows who he is, which is a good thing. Fabolous has been out of the spotlight for a while now and he turned to 2 Chainz for a collaboration.
When the fellow Desert Storm mate plans to release his album remains to be seen, but fans of 2 Chainz got theirs this week. B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time is out now and has had a strong reaction. The album leaked to the internet a while back, so the guest appearances from Pharrell, Drake, Beyonce, and Ma$e aren’t much of a surprise.
2 Chainz still talked about this when he sat down with Sway Calloway for MTV’s “RapFix Live” earlier this week. A collaboration king, 2 Chainz told Sway who and what fans should expect on his new album. He spoke on his work with Drake, Beyonce, and Ma$e.
