2 Chainz talks video vixens and state of music with MTV News [VIDEO]

A lot of big albums have been released this year and there are a lot of big releases that are still coming. Last year, 2 Chainz made the official transition from being simply a mixtape rapper to being the biggest star in the game. 2 Chainz is still dominating and he is preparing his B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time album.

With this album, 2 Chainz is changing things up from his last LP. As the title suggests, this album will showcase 2 Chainz focusing more on himself, “me time.” 2 Chainz already has the “Feds Watching” single with Pharrell and the album will have a different tone, more focus on other topics.

MTV News recently sat down with 2 Chainz and in the first part of their interview, they talked about B.O.A.T.S. II being controversial. In the second part of their interview, the discussion centered around the problems in the rap game. 2 Chainz gave his take on the video models and where he thinks hip hop is at.
