Last month, 2 Chainz premiered his new “Money Maker” single featuring Lil Wayne during his Verzuz battle with Rick Ross. He would go on to announce that his new “So Help Me God” album would drop on September 25.
Now, fans will not be getting this project from the Atlanta legend tonight. 2 Chainz took to social media to say that samples are still waiting to be cleared along with a skit.
“I ain’t dropping my album this week either,” said the rapper, looking and sounding dejected. “We will be on Family Feud tonight but I ain’t dropping my album this week. I ain’t finished with it yet. I’m waiting on two samples to get back, information on two samples, and I’m waiting on a skit, believe it or not. It shouldn’t [be more] than a couple of weeks, though.”
Hopefully, So Help Me God drops sometime in October. In the meantime, fans can check 2 Chainz and Big Boi out on Family Feud tonight on ABC at 8pm ET.
