Out of nowhere, Los Angeles has two NFL teams and, until last season, they didn’t have any. There was a time when Los Angeles was home to the Rams and the Raiders. In 1995, the Rams relocated to St. Louis and the Raiders returned to Oakland.
However, in a strange reversal, the Rams returned to Los Angeles in 2016. Now, the San Diego Chargers have announced they are relocating to Los Angeles. There, they will play in the same arena, where their pro soccer team plays.
This news now gives Los Angeles two NBA teams, two MLB teams, two NHL teams, and two prominent college sports programs. Many other cities in the US can’t even get one of those. Because of this, the protest to the Los Angeles Chargers is real, as sports fans have taken to Twitter to protest the LA Chargers.
