21 Savage brings out Drake during Toronto concert
On Monday night, 21 Savage brought his American Dream Tour to Toronto. In addition to 21 performing his hits, as well as records from his latest “American Dream” album, he also brought out a massive guest.
This guest went on to be Drake, who’s the biggest artist to ever come out of Toronto, and has been a frequent collaborator of Drake’s, since 2020. Moreover, the two opened up this set on stage with a performance of their 2021 “Knife Talk” collaboration, which was on Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album.
21 Savage’s American Dream Tour initially kicked off on May 1, in Vancouver, BC. 30 dates will be available in total, as the final show will be held on June 15, in 21’s hometown of Atlanta.
21’s American Dream album was initially released in January, and was his first solo album since 2018’s “I Am > I Was.” 15 songs were included, as well as features from Mariah The Scientist, Brent Faiyaz, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, and more. As a result, it went on to become 21’s second straight number one solo album on the Billboard 200 chart. Prior to American Dream, 21 debuted atop the Billboard 200, with joint albums with Metro Boomin and Drake, on “Savage Mode II” and “Her Loss.”
