21 Savage earns fourth number one album with “American Dream”
A week and a half stop, 21 Savage delivered his highly anticipated third studio album, “American Dream.” This project included 15 new songs, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Lil Durk, Brent Faiyaz, Mariah The Scientist, and more.
Meanwhile, 21 has officially just earned his fourth straight number one album, on the Billboard 200 chart, with American Dream. This comes after the album sold 133,000 units in its first week, according to HitsDailyDouble. 21 has also been releasing visuals from the album, including the latest buzzing “Redrum” record.
The release of American Dream was a long time coming, as it was 21’s first solo studio album, since December 2018’s Billboard 200 chart-topping “I Am > I Was.” That project contained the Grammy-nominated “A Lot,” featuring J. Cole. 21’s last project in general was “Savage Mode 2” with Metro Boomin, in late 2020, as that also topped the Billboard 200.
Moreover, American Dream also serves as the soundtrack to 21 Savage’s upcoming film, “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story.” This film will feature, 21, Jabari Banks, Donald Glover, Gail Bean, and much more. It will officially be released in theaters, on July 4. The trailer was released earlier this month, as it quickly went viral and earned the anticipation of fans of 21.
