21 Savage receives “21 Savage Appreciation Day” in Atlanta
2023 has been another major one for 21 Savage, as he toured with Drake on his It’s All A Blur Tour. That came after he and Drake initially released their 2022 joint album, “Her Loss,” which went on to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart.
Moreover, this fall, 21 also finally became an official US resident. As a result, he was able to leave the country, as well as perform overseas. In late November, he even ventured on a European tour, which went on to conclude in his native city of London, on November 30. It was also at this show, that 21 revealed that his next studio album is finally coming soon. It’s been a while since a solo album from 21 has arrived, as that dates back to 2018, with the Grammy-nominated “I Am > I Was” album.
Meanwhile, 21 is also now being honored by the state of Georgia, as he’s been resident in Atlanta since moving from the UK, sine 2005. On Saturday, a Fulton County Commissioner named December 10 as “21 Savage Appreciation Day,” in the Fulton County area of Atlanta.
