By just looking at 21 Savage’s Instagram, it’s clear he’s a major basketball fan. He’s got skills enough to actually be a decent basketball player. Like most rappers, he follows the NBA and was all over this year’s Finals.
Since 2015, the NBA Finals have featured the Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Every year, the advantage is to the Warriors and every year, minus 2016, they have won. This year, they took all the fun out of it, sweeping Cleveland.
Many people bet on sporting events and 21 Savage saw a chance to make some easy money. The Atlanta rapper bet on the Warriors, last night, and Steph Curry won him some money. Now, 21 Savage is adding $373,000 to his bank account.
