21 Savage’s “American Dream” expected to debut at No. 1 in US
On Friday, 21 Savage released his long-awaited third studio album, “American Dream.” 15 new songs were released, including collaborations with Summer Walker, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, and much more. As a result, this project has since gone on to receive plenty of praise from fans on social media.
Meanwhile, 21’s American Dream is also expected to have a big first week in sales. According to Hits Daily Double, it’s on its way to seeing a number one debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. 130,000-150,000 units are expected to be sold, in its first week. Furthermore, on Friday, 21 also put out the visuals for “Redrum” from the album.
Moreover, 21 Savage’s American Dream album also serves as the soundtrack to his upcoming “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story” film. This will be released in theaters on July 4, as it features himself, Donald Glover, Gail Bean, Jabari Banks, and much more. The trailer for the film was released earlier this week, as it heavily went viral. This included scenes where Glover is casted as 21, and Banks is seen playing the role of one of 21’s longtime producers, Metro Boomin.
