22-year-old Lil Cam arrested by Houston police for felony gun possession; Was allegedly armed on night of Takeoff shooting

Lil Cam arrested for gun possession & is possible Takeoff suspect

Earlier this month, hip-hop lost one of its brightest stars, in Takeoff. He was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling. This occurred after an argument ensued between Quavo and another group of men, after a dice game. 10 shots were soon fired, as Takeoff was unfortunately caught in the middle of the crossfire.

As a result, police in Houston have since been investigating this case, as no arrests had been made, in connection to Takeoff’s death. However, one 22-year-old man, who goes by Lil Cam, has been arrested over the weekend. Cam is arrested for felony gun posession. Cam had previously been arrested by police for charges of burglary, drug possession, and robbery.

However, Cam is also said to have been in possession of a firearm, on the night of the Takeoff shooting. It’s unclear where exactly he was, though, when that incident took place. Police had previously mentioned another man, who was armed, and was listed as a person of interest.

It’s also said that Lil Cam is part of J Prince’s Mob Ties Records. Prince has since been heavily criticized, over him wanting rappers to “check in,” whenever they come to Houston. Prince has since set up a Takeoff memorial outside, of 810 Billiards. At the time, it hasn’t been confirmed of whether or not that Cam was who pulled the trigger, and took Takeoff’s life.
