Tupac and Afeni Shakur “Dear Mama” series is coming in April
The highly anticipated “Dear Mama” series on FX, is finally arriving on April 21. The trailer was released in May 2022, as this project dives into the relationship of 2Pac and his mother Afeni Shakur.
Dear Mama will be a 5-part series, as fans will also be able to stream all of it on Hulu, as well. Various clips of unreleased audio and footage will also be available in this series. Many fans of the late west coast rapper also know Dear Mama to be the title of one of his biggest singles to date. That appeared on his classic third studio album, “Me Against The World,” in March 1995.
2022 will also mark 27 years since 2Pac was shot and killed, in Las Vegas. Afeni Shakur passed away, back in May of 2016. Various forms of 2Pac memorabilia have since been put up for auction over the years, such as letters written, and even the BMW that he was in, when he was shot, with Suge Knight next to him.
