California rapper, 40 Glocc, has been dealing with some serious legal issues since last year. In October, he reached a plea deal two years after being arrested on for a case involving a prostitution ring. This was done to drop two felony charges which were fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and engaging in the sex trafficking of an individual. He plead guilty to one felony count of promoting prostitution of an individual.

Earlier this week on June 30, Glocc also turned himself in to Blue Earth County Jail in Mankato, MN, according to TMZ. Court documents also stated that he will be serving a one-year sentence at this jail. Following his exit from jail, Glocc will serve 10 years of supervised release.

Glocc will also be hit with several conditions after his release. He can’t use or possess firearms, must obtain his GED, and also agree to random testing for drugs and alcohol. Glocc turning himself in also comes after releasing his new ‘Constantine‘ mixtape almost two weeks ago.

In February 2017, Glocc was among four people arrested in Minnesota over this prostitution operation. Documents obtained by TMZ at the time revealed that a 41-year-old man drove to an unnamed location after a cop contacted a woman on Backpage.com. The woman ended up being arrested. They were able to get Glocc after he sped off in his car and they noted that he destroyed multiple cell phones to avoid being caught.

Many also remember Glocc for getting beaten up by The Game in 2012. The two ended up reaching a settlement for this incident in 2019, according to The Blast. He initially sued Game in 2013 for $4.54 million. Damages included $500,000 for pain and suffering, $500,000 for emotional distress, $2 million in punitive damages, $25,000 in medical expenses, and $750,000 for lost earnings.
