42 Dugg Reportedly Heading Towards Plea Deal in 2019 Georgia Federal Gun Possession Case

42 Dugg has been trending over the last week on social media due to his new “Free Dem Boyz” album. Here, his “Maybach” song featuring Future is getting all the attention after Future dissed his ex-girlfriend, Lori Harvey. He also added another diss on a new version leaked this week. Additional features on the album included Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, Fivio Foreign, and more.

As for Dugg, he is still dealing with legal woes. According to VladTV, he is reportedly pleading guilty in his gun possession case in Georgia. The Detroit rapper has been discussing this lately with prosecutors in the state.

Dugg’s attorney has since come out and “both parties are still hopeful that a resolution can be reached in the near future.” A hearing was supposed to take place on May 24 but that was delayed due to the plea deal negotiations. This case all started after Dugg visited a gun range in November 2019, which slapped him with a charge of possessing a firearm as a felon.

Dugg faces 10 years in prison but it’ll be interesting to see what the plea deal earns him. As of now, he is on pre-trial release, which allows him to travel for work.
