Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent used to be the best of friends in what seems a decade ago now. The two have spent the last five beefing on Instagram. Today that continued as Money Mayweather threw the first jab and of course 50 had to respond.
Mayweather mentioned 50 trying to go head to head against Kanye West in album sales back in 2007. At the time, West had his third studio album “Graduation” out which had mega hits such as “Good Life” feat. T-Pain, “Stronger” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” 50 released his third studio album as well which was titled “Curtis” and had hits such as “I Get Money” and “Ayo Technology” feat. Justin Timberlake. The champ also roasted 50 on not doing well with headphones and liquor business ventures compared to Dr. Dre and Jay Z.
As far as 50’s response, he seemed very nonchalant about the attacks by Mayweather. 50 simply said that Mayweather is the GOAT and he’s done with the back and forth. He used the rumors of Mayweather not being able to read well to his advantage as well as he said that someone needs to read this IG post to him.
