50 Cent and Method Man talk “Power Book II: Ghost,” early days of Wu-Tang Clan, hip hop in the 1990s, and more with XXL

Much credit has to go to both 50 Cent and Method Man, due to their longevity, and how they’ve reinvented themselves. These guys, especially 50 Cent, ran the rap game, during their time. But, when music slowed down, they embraced TV and film.

Method Man has become an acclaimed actor, over the past decade, taking on some very unique roles. Meanwhile, 50 Cent is lauded for his role as ‘Kanan,’ on “Power,” he is a successful producer. Long before his current deal, he did the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ film.

50 Cent and Method Man spoke with XXL, a couple of weeks ago. The two were there to discuss “Power, Book II: Ghost,” which has been met with positive reviews, so far. But, the two also discussed music, with Method Man speaking on the early days of Wu-Tang Clan, them speaking on 90s hip hop, and more.
