Last summer, “Power” came to a thrilling end, as 50 Cent’s character, Kanan, was killed off. A lot of men loved “Power” for getting Lala Anthony to take her top off, but her scene partner, Shawn (Sinqua Walls) got killed off too. There is so much drama to come back to.
50 Cent is no longer playing on the show, but he is still very much involved. During every award show, 50 Cent vouches for Omari Hardwick to get nominations. While “Power” does deserve its nominations, the show is just good and fans are glad its back.
“Power” returns to Starz on July 17, moving to Sunday nights. Before the show returns, “Power” held its premiere party and the cast, Hardwick, Joseph Sikora, and Rotimi were present. Others who showed up to support include DJ Envy and DJ Drama.
