When it comes to business, 50 Cent is all over it. Over the past few years, 50 Cent has promoted Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Sitting ringside in Las Vegas at most of his fights, many suggested 50 Cent venture into boxing promotion. 50 Cent soon launched his promotions company, TMT Promotions, which has since folded.
After a high-profile Twitter beef, which Rick Ross even commented on, 50 Cent revealed it was a hoax. But, during an interview with Los Angeles-based Power 106’s show, “Big Boy’s Neighborhood,” 50 Cent revealed the deal was off. 50 Cent has remained in the business, however, with his SMS Promotions.
The new face of 50 Cent’s new company is Yuriokis Gamboa. 50 Cent performed before his recent fight, which he won. Undefeated under his new company, Gamboa traveled to New York City with 50 Cent. Stopping by Angie Martinez’ show on Hot 97, the two spoke on their partnership and the boxing record of Gamboa.
