50 Cent announces launch of G-Unit Studios in Louisiana

Over the past decade, 50 Cent has been dominating in the realm of television. He’s executive produced hit TV series such as “Power,” “BMF,” and more.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has now added another major television and film milestone to his resume. He has announced on social media that G Unit studios is being placed in Shreveport, Louisiana. Therefore, 50 took to social media to reveal the studio being approved by council members in Louisiana.

In a statement put out by 50, he thanked Shreveport’s mayor, the head of city council, along with others who voted for this project to happen. Moreover, he empathized that this endeavor is something he was planning for a while now.

Currently, 50 has plenty of hot content out. Season three of “PowerBook III: Raising Kanan” premiered this month, which has been a major success on STARZ. Furthermore, the third season of “BMF” is also set to premiere on March 1. Earlier this month, a teaser trailer was also unveiled, as the cast wrapped up filming, in June. The announcement for season 3 coming in March went on to be made shortly after the writers’ strike in Los Angeles finally ended, two months ago.
