50 Cent planning to leave STARZ
Over the past eight years, 50 Cent has brought some of the hottest shows to STRARZ. This includes, “Power,” the latest spin-offs off of Power, such as ”Power Book.” The first season of “BMF” also premiered last fall, and was another massive success.
Now, 50 is starting to voice even more displeasure, against STARZ. This afternoon, he began to threaten leave the network, as he said his deal is up. He also added that STARZ is keeping “Powerbook IV: Force,” in limbo.
“This is me packing my stuff, STARZ,” said 50 on Instagram. “Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest rated show they have sitting in limbo. If I told you how much dumb sh*t I deal with over here. you would think they all went to school on a small yellow bus.”
Many fans were surprised to see 50 create this post, but a lot decided to support him. Suggestions started to be made in his comments section, that he should simply start his own network. Based on the success he’s experienced at STARZ, with the shows he’s executive produced, he could definitely have huge wins at his own network, as well.
