50 Cent says he & Shaquille O’Neal aren’t bidding for BET anymore
50 Cent and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently teamed up, in an effort to possibly be part of the new ownership of BET. However, it appears BET has made the bidding’s asking price way too much to ask for.
As a result, 50 Cent has revealed that BET wanted $3 billion, for the purchase of the network. Therefore, 50 says that he and Shaq are no longer in the bidding, and that this situation isn’t worth $3 billion.
However, 50 has still been seeing an unbelievable amount of success in television, over the past decade. It all started in 2014, with him executive producing “Power” on STARZ, as various spinoffs have also since been created. Furthermore, 50 began to executive produce the “BMF” series, as that initially aired in the fall of 2021. That told the story of notorious Detroit drug dealers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. Big Meech’s son Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory played the role of himself. Da’Vinchi earned the role of Southwest T. A third season also recently concluded filming.
Furthermore, 50 is currently on his “The Final Lap” World Tour. That kicked off this summer, and includes special guests Busta Rhymes and Jeremih.
