50 Cent Says That The Same Technology From “The Irishman,” Was Used to De-Age Eminem, to Play “White Boy Rick,” on “BMF”

“BMF” on Starz is currently one of the hottest new series out on television. Executive produced by 50 Cent, it tells the story of two huge Detroit drug dealers, in Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.

Meech’s son, Demetrius Flenory Jr, is playing the role of his father. For Southwest T, Da’Vinchi is taking on that part. For this Sunday’s episode, a new character is being introduced, in Rick Wershe, aka, White Boy Rick.

Rick was an informant for the FBI at 14, but then also turned into a notable drug dealer. Rick ended up doing 32 years in prison, and now, Eminem is playing the role of him, in BMF.

50 has been outspoken in how grateful he is for Eminem, in taking this role. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, he explained how the show was able to de-age Eminem, to look more like a teenager.

“When Eminem found out I was directing, he committed to do it, and working together was natural. It was an honor to have him on the show and it made this episode extra special.”

“The technology that they used to de-age him was the same thing they used in The Irishman.” Em actually has a beard, so they first took the hair out of his face using the technology, and then they de-aged him all the way down.”
