Ultimately, 50 Cent played a major part in the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards. With the ceremony to tribute Chris Lighty, BET asked 50 Cent and Fat Joe to share the stage together. Out of respect for Chris Lighty, the rappers did share the stage together. After so many harsh words had been shared, Fat Joe was not looking to make peace, instead remaining motionless during 50 Cent’s set.
Surprisingly, it would be 50 Cent who stepped up and ended the beef, shaking Fat Joe’s hand and making other friendly gestures. While 50 Cent and Fat Joe made peace, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross would fight, after two years of insults. Mike Knox, a 50 Cent affiliate, would jump Gunplay, who is signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music.
Over the past two and a half weeks, 50 Cent has been offering commentary on those situations. But, during a recent trip to Paris, 50 Cent spoke on Detox and his new album. Working with Dr. Dre again, 50 Cent revealed Street King Immortal would be delayed from its November release date. The album will feature appearances from Chris Brown, Eminem, Trey Songz, and Ne-Yo.
