50 Cent talks health issues with MTV News [VIDEO]

Earlier this week, 50 Cent released photographs to the internet, revealing him in the hospital. As he laid in the hospital bed, 50 Cent premiered the official music video for his single, “Shooting Guns,” featuring Kidd Kidd. The next day, 50 Cent and DJ Drama began making media rounds and began promoting The Lost Tape.

Out of the hospital, many felt as if 50 Cent went to the hospital as a publicity stunt. When he had new music on the way, earlier in his career, 50 Cent started feuds with some of his rivals, or he created rivals. During the promotion of his first album, 50 Cent used Ja Rule and he used Jadakiss and Fat Joe on his second album and then Cam’ron and Kanye West.

However, with dwindling record sales on each album, 50 Cent has been forced to change his tactics. But, unable to land a secure release date for his next album, 50 Cent has returned to releasing mixtapes. With many feeling he faked his illness, 50 Cent spoke to MTV News about the stomach virus he had with DJ Drama by his side.
