Initially, 50 Cent faced a lot of backlash, due to his demeanor. In many ways, 50 Cent came off as a bully, even though many said he was a very nice guy. Slowly, 50 Cent shed the thug image and became a very successful businessman. 50 Cent comes off more comfortable in this role and he shared his story with the world.

At the age of eight, 50 Cent lost his single mother and had to live with his grandparents until he got of age. Losing his mother at such a young age, 50 Cent taught himself how to be alone and it helped him become the man he is today. His father never was a part of his life and 50 Cent never reached out to him.

Recently, 50 Cent appeared on CNN, where he talked to Larry King. 50 Cent talked to the news anchor for his show, “Larry King Live.” Like 50 Cent, Larry King also lost his parent, his father, and he talked to 50 Cent about growing up poor and losing a parent. During the interview, 50 Cent said he does not know his father and does not want to.
