Even when 50 Cent is not in the news, he is in the news. Once hip hop’s most-imposing figure, 50 Cent has found a niche offering commentary about everything in the entertainment industry. At one point hip hop’s bad boy, 50 Cent has since become one of the biggest entertainment moguls in the industry, now producing films and owning the companies he has endorsement deals with. Now, though, 50 Cent is headed back into the studio, hoping to regain his hip hop status.
50 Cent planned a joint mixtape with DJ Drama in 2008, but the project was never released, for unknown reasons. Following the success of his mixtape, The Big 10, 50 Cent has rededicated himself to the independent releases, which helped him gain initial fame. Focused on his mixtapes, the G-Unit general announced his follow-up to The Big 10. Reuniting with DJ Drama, 50 Cent is preparing to release The Lost Tape.
Recently, 50 Cent traveled to Las Vegas, where he caught up with Bootleg Kev and the two spoke on many topics. Among the things discussed included The Lost Tape, the rumors about Lloyd Banks, writing for Game’s The Documentary, and several other topics. Following the interview, Bootleg Kev revealed he was honored to have the chance to speak with 50 Cent.
