Ten years ago, all of hip hop’s controversy was coming from 50 Cent. Starting off targeting Ja Rule, 50 Cent soon ended up getting into it with Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Nas, Diddy, and Fabolous, among others. All of those other feuds have been squashed with the exception of one.
50 Cent no longer needs controversy to sell records because he no longer needs to sell records. His high-profile deal with Vitamin Water made sure 50 Cent never had to use such antics to keep himself going. Watching the current controversy-starters in hip hop thoroughly entertains 50 Cent.
Like everyone else, 50 Cent was tuned into Twitter and Instagram watching Gucci Mane and his show. Before this, DMX captured headlines with his naked hotel sprint, which he explained was a dare. Either way, both men are known for drug use and 50 Cent used this for his latest joke.
