In 2007, Ja Rule appeared to have everything he needed to make a strong comeback. Boasting a Lil Wayne feature and performing alongside Kanye West, plus a pop hit looked like a win. At one point, he was set to drop his album the same day as 50 Cent.
Suddenly, Ja Rule’s album didn’t happen and he did not release a new album. While 50 Cent also saw his career decline, Ja Rule and the entire crew at Murder Inc. saw their brand no longer viable. In hindsight, rumors have suggested 50 Cent was behind all of this.
A ferocious competitor, 50 Cent has not denied being the one to shut his rivals down, even if he didn’t. Rising Queens emcee, Murda Mook, recently made an Instagram post praising Irv Gotti and saying he would soon be working with him. Promising he still watches everything, 50 Cent promised to shut that situation down.
