50 Cent upside down at the Super Bowl has been turned into a meme
In those Get Rich or Die Tryin days, few people could foresee social media becoming what it has become. Even those who could, couldn’t imagine 50 Cent becoming a social media troll. Yet, this is the landscape of 2022, 50 Cent is one of Instagram’s biggest trolls.
50 Cent remains a powerful force in the industry. However, in the music industry, 50 Cent hasn’t sold many units since 2007. The last time 50 Cent’s music was even a factor was back in 2009. Last night, 50 Cent’s music was relevant, for one more night, as he brought “In Da Club” back to life.
Dr. Dre did the Super Bowl halftime show, where the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals. During the halftime show, 50 Cent stole the show. The attempt was to recreate the “In Da Club” music video, so 50 Cent began the performance upside down. But, 50 Cent has put on some pounds between 2003 and 2022. Because of this, the photo of 50 Cent upside down, last night, has become a meme. A lot of people, especially the young ones, have jokes, but the reality is that 50 Cent is getting older. The same people cracking jokes will get older, too.
