50 Cent wants to buy out his shows from STARZ and leave the network
A few months ago, 50 Cent voiced his displeasure for STARZ, as he doesn’t like what the television network is doing with his shows anymore. He made it known that he wants out, as he posted a video where he is ready to pack his things, and leave. This comes as “Power Book IV: Force” was about to conclude, and fresh off the success of season 1 of “BMF,” last fall.
“This is me packing my stuff, STARZ. Sucks, my deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest rated show they have sitting in limbo. If I told you how much dumb sh*t I deal with over here. you would think they all went to school on a small yellow bus.”
Now, 50 is emphasizing again that he wants to leave STARZ, and bring his talents to another network. On Instagram, 50 said he wants to buy his universe out, in order to make this move happen.
“Everybody ready to work, I’m trying to buy my universe back from STARZ so it goes where ever i go. Only 5 months left in my deal, and i’m not on the air for 6 months so We Out!”
50 has had massive success at STARZ, with his shows, ever since 2014. It will be interesting to see if he actually does land with a new network soon, to continue his “Power” series, as well as launching BMF season 2.
