Whenever 50 Cent is asked about the people who helped shape him to become the man he is, he always mentions his grandparents. Named after his grandfather, 50 Cent is heavily influenced by his grandmother. When his mother died, when 50 Cent was only eight years old, he moved in with his grandparents and they raised him.
50 Cent was raised alongside a host of cousins and even some aunts and uncles. But, he went his own way when he began hustling and later rapping. Very risky moves, no doubt, in the end, 50 Cent found a way to make it work and he has not stopped working since that moment, with his grandmother being there for him all the way.
Last night, 50 Cent’s cousin, Continental Five, posted on Instagram and he revealed some devastating news for the Jackson family. Their matriarch, Beulah Jackson, has died and an era is over. 50 Cent has yet to comment on the loss of his grandmother and it’s safe to assume he may take some time off.
