“8 Mile” actor Nashawn Breedlove passes away at 46
On Tuesday, it was unfortunately revealed that Nashawn Breedlove, who appeared in the classic 2002 “8 Mile” film, passed away on September 24. Furthermore, Breedlove reportedly passed away while in his sleep, at his New Jersey home. This was confirmed by one of his family members, to TMZ. The official cause of death has yet to be revealed. The announcement of Breedlove’s passing after rapper Mickey Factz initially broke the news of it.
Moreover, Breedlove played the role of “Lotto,” in 8 Mile. Many remember him for battling rapping against Eminem‘s character, B-Rabbit. However, B-Rabbit went on to easily out-rap everyone there, as he was up against Lotto and the other men in Detroit who attacked him, days before the battle rap showcase he was in. Lotto displayed some impressive bars, but B-Rabbit ultimately came out on top. 8 Mile is also regarded as one of the most iconic films of the 2000s.
Breedlove was also an artist, prior to appearing on 8 Mile. His stage name was OX. He was even featured on “The Wash” soundtrack in 2001, as that film starred Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
