“8 Mile” actor Nashawn Breedlove’s cause of death ruled as fentanyl and cocaine overdose

Back in September, “8 Mile” actor Nashawn Breedlove suddenly passed away, at the age of 46, in New Jersey. However, no official cause of deatth had been ruled, in the months leading after the tragic passing.
Meanwhile, according to TMZ, this cause of death of Breedlove has now been revealed. The New Jersey Medical Examiner stated that he passed as a result of a drug overdose. This involved fentanyl, acetyl fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol. However, the overdose is said to have been accidental.
The New Jersey Medical Examiner also unveiled that Breedlove was found decomposed on a bedroom floor in his apartment. Police officers and his landlord even needed a crowbar to get inside the apartment. The crowbar was initially needed to get inside the home, due to the resident below Nashawn’s unit calling in about a brown fluid that was leaking through the ceiling, into her unit. Once inside, police discovered a pipe near Breedlove, that is used for cocaine and other drug use.
Breedlove is known for his role in the classic 2003 “8 Mile” film, which starred Eminem. Breedlove’s role was a battle rapper in Detroit, who lost to Eminem’s character.
