A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie debuted at number four on the iTunes charts with #TheBiggerArtist, selling 60,000 copies his first week

It’s been a decade since Nas sparked the whole Hip Hop Is Dead discussion and there is a stalemate. Yeah, the game has changed, and, no, it’s not changing back. Artists like French Montana and A$AP Rocky proved the shift was forever.

Those guys were among the first to embrace a Southern style, from the gate, and become big stars. Those guys opened the door for A Boogie, Young M.A., and Cardi B to do what they’re doing. While Cardi B is dominating the charts, A Boogie dropped his debut album.

The final numbers are in and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has the number one rap album with The Bigger Artist, checking in at number four on iTunes. With his album debuting so strong, the first week sales are also decent. He logged 60,000 copies in his first week.
