A Drake Rhyme Book From His ‘Degrassi’ Days Is Going On Sale For A Hefty Penny Containing 20-25 Pages Of Content

Before Mr. Champagne Papi, there was Drake and before Drake, there was Aubrey Graham. Aubrey was a Canadian teenager who became an actor on Degrassi who aspired to be a rapper who penned his lyrics in his rhyme book on and off set. Now that he has rose to fame his old flows that were written with pen and paper are now up for sale for thousands of dollars.

From 2002 and 2005, Drizzy had a notebook that he used to jot his lyrically thoughts and songs and now the rhyme book is being auctioned through the memorabilia company Moment In Time, for a hefty penny — $32,500. The price may sound a bit pricey but trust it’s worth every penny. The notebook features the 6 God’s signature, about 20-25 pages worth of content consisting of verses, full length songs, and random musings by the hip-hop icon throughout his ‘Degrassi’ days.

Girls lie and you make it evident you affected

Up north / Drake is the president I’m respected

But I’m a liar due to the evidence you collected

From chicks in my crew / to chicks beside you

Cashiers at the drive through / them hoes lie too

The prized possession was found in a dumpster near where Drake use to work by his grandfather’s old furniture factory in Toronto. Now fans can have an insight into the beginning of the Drake evolution and see that his rhymes about ladies hasn’t changed much, but we can definitely tell that his rhymes and flow have improved!
