Black America is suffering from outrage, trauma, frustration, and overall exhaustion with the injustices that continuously take place across the country. Most recently a video circulated the internet showing four police officers in Minneapolis arrest a black man and murder him in broad daylight as one officer deliberately suffocated George Floyd to death with a knee to Floyd’s neck.

Often when these outrageous brutalities occur by way of officer towards a black civilian, white people are suspiciously quiet as they almost seem to turn a blind eye to the injustice and inhumane behavior that is captured on camera. While many people of color have called this cowardice behavior out; As silence can be just as dangerous and is certainly a major part of the severe racial epidemic we are still suffering from. A few celebrities are oftentimes quiet about these types of situation, but we came across a few white celebrities that used their platform and voice to speak out against the deadly disease we call racism.

Among that list of celebrities is the second most followed person on Instagram, 26 year-old pop star Ariana Grande.

Ariana has been instrumental in posting weekly about different things that can help black and brown people during the pandemic. The “7 Rings” superstar has also shared her devastation from the George Floyd tragedy through her Instagram stories and even shared ways to continue to speak out against his murder. With over 100 million followers, platforms like Ariana Grande’s truly make an impact in the efforts to push for justice.

In addition to Ariana Grande, the following white celebrities spoke out in outrage and disgust: Justin Beiber, Madonna, the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lawrence and more.
