Last week, Kanye West held his epic “Donda” album listening event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta. The album was supposed to be released at midnight, of July 23, but that didn’t happen as planned. Since then, Justin LaBoy and Malik Yusef have said that August 6 is the new release date for Donda.
According to Pitchfork, a rep for Kanye told the outlet that this release date is 100% confirmed right now. Knowing Kanye in the past though, this August 6 date could get changed as well.
At the listening event at the Benz for Donda, fans were able to hear what appears to be every song off the album. Features included Jay Z, Lil Baby, Pusha T, Lil Durk, and more. Kanye is even living at the stadium, until Donda is completely finished. Footage has since leaked of him with an engineer at the venue, working on the album. Ye also has his own chef there, too.
Kanye has been one of the biggest trending topics on social media all year. He is currently in the middle of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, and is still dating Russian model, Irina Shayk.
