Last year, A$AP Ferg had a breakout year, with his single, “Work,” becoming a pretty big hit. The remix for the single, featuring A$AP Rocky, French Montana, and Trinidad James became an even bigger hit for him. In the end, A$AP Ferg decided to turn his then-forthcoming Trap Lord mixtape into his debut album.
Unfortunately, this year, the world hasn’t seen or heard much from A$AP Ferg, but this doesn’t mean he wasn’t working. Instead, A$AP Ferg was working on making his next move his best move. This time, he is coming back with a mixtape, Ferg Forever, and he’s working with DJ Drama.
Yesterday, A$AP Ferg decided to share something personal with his social media followers in promotion of the mixtape. Not only did A$AP Ferg release the Ferg Forever mixtape cover, he also revealed the story behind it. Before his father died, he designed the Ferg Forever cover and came up with the title and now it’s being used in his memory.
