Years of discussion about what happened to New York hip hop ended when two stars emerged, within months of each other. French Montana is clearly the biggest new star from the city of New York since 50 Cent. Another major star to emerge is A$AP Rocky, who has impressed the hip hop game with his unique style.
A$AP Rocky recently made an appearance on “The Butcher’s Block,” the seventh episode of the series. The Harlem emcee is supposed to release his debut album, LongLiveA$AP, later this month. However, the album was delayed earlier this year and could be delayed once again, but is currently set for a late October release.
During his interview with “The Butcher’s Block,” A$AP Rocky would discuss the people he is touring with ScHoolboy Q and Danny Brown. A$AP Rocky explained why he has so much respect for them. Over the past year, the trio have put together a vast amount of songs, building a strong bond.
