A$AP Rocky meets Aesop Rock at Rock The Bells 2013 [PHOTO]

Each year, the Rock The Bells music festival provides something different, but always newsworthy. Last year, when Rock The Bells was going on, A$AP Rocky was still establishing himself as a mainstream rap star. Now, A$AP Rocky is fresh off an album that was number one in the country.

One underlying reason why A$AP Rocky MIGHT have gotten so famous so fast might be how similar his name is to another hip hop star. Even though he is mostly underground, Aesop Rock has a big fan base. He is a legend within his circuit and his name is similar to A$AP Rocky’s.

Unlike some other rappers, who would have turned this similarity into some form of beef, Aesop Rock and A$AP Rocky embraced each other. Both rappers were present at Rock The Bells and they ended up meeting. They took this photo, which was a nice way to get the interest from the fans.
