Over the summer, A$AP Rocky was arrested for almost a month in Stockholm, Sweden after he was arrested on an assault charge. This was after a man and his friend stalked Rocky and his team for almost a mile in the city.
In August, Rocky was free to leave Sweden as he waited for his ruling. He was found guilty but didn’t receive any prison time. He has since booked a concert in Stockholm set for next month.
In addition to his huge concert, he’d also be open to performing in the jail he was held in, according to TMZ. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service say they haven’t received a request from Rocky to perform there yet but they would take it seriously and discuss how to make it actually happen.
Rocky was skeptical about the chances of this prison performance happening due to inmates not being allowed out of their cells for more than an hour. The jail has said they could make exceptions to this though if he does end up performing there. If Rocky does end up performing here after his first show in Stockholm next month, it could also mean that other rappers would end their boycott of the country. This was due to the way Rocky was treated during the situation.
