Last month, A$AP Rocky made it over his final hurdle. On the Harlem streets and through the internet, A$AP Rocky was popular. None of that, however, made A$AP Rocky a rap superstar, which led to some beginning to call him overrated. A$AP Rocky scored an internet smash with his “Goldie” single, which became a minor radio hit.
However, it was not until November that A$AP Rocky transitioned into being a complete mainstream rap star. “Fuckin’ Problem,” featuring 2 Chainz, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar was released and became an immediate hit. The song served as the perfect launch to his debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, which debuted at number one on Billboard.
Life + Times spoke to A$AP Rocky and they addressed Tyler, the Creator’s dig on Twitter. The alternative rapper dissed the “Fuckin’ Problem” song and A$AP Rocky said that is his own opinion. A$AP Rocky went on to discuss the sales of his album and the impact the full album leak had.
