In a sit down interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez, recently freed rapper A$AP Rocky reveals that he’s been suffering from a certain addiction for quite some time. Appearing on Martinez’s show, “Untold Stories of Hip Hop,” Rocky says that he’s a sex addict.
It’s not a secret that Rocky thoroughly enjoys sex. He’s gone on record to claim that he enjoys having orgies. He even had a $100k bed made because he often hosts orgies at his home with a close knit group of female friends and companions.
Now it seems that Rocky is saying that he’s enjoyed these sexual events a little bit too much. In a preview clip for Angie’s show, the radio DJ presses Rocky about whether he was really an addict. He doubled down stating he’s been like this since junior high.
If you remember correctly, Rocky told Esquire his first orgy happened at age of 13. So while this diagnosis may not have come from a therapist, it’s good to see that he doesn’t feel shame about opening up regarding personal struggles and acknowledging that he needs help.
