Another one of 2012’s breakthrough artists has been A$AP Rocky. The Harlem emcee has built a strong fan base throughout the United States, becoming a fixture on FUSE TV, among other hip hop outlets. Anticipation for A$AP Rocky has been high, since the summer 2011 release of his mixtape. Moving from mixtapes, A$AP Rocky is now preparing his debut album.
Billboard recently spoke to A$AP Rocky and he discussed how he has become appealing to other genres of music. A$AP Rocky recently appeared in the music video for Lana Del Rey’s “National Anthem.” Speaking on this, A$AP Rocky said he has a lot of that demographic because thsoe fans support him, but not necessarily rap.
During his interview, A$AP Rocky also broke his silence on his much-discussed debut album, LongLiveA$AP. A$AP Rocky revealed the album will be released in September. In the coming weeks, however, A$AP Rocky said to expect a single with him and the entire A$AP Mob.
