A$AP Rocky talks touring and grabbing Rihanna at 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

A common dream for kids growing up is to make it big as a rapper. Becoming a rap star was a childhood dream of A$AP Rocky, who is named after Rakim. Hailing from Harlem, A$AP Rocky immediately rose to the forefront of the new hip hop scene. Now, alongside French Montana, the young rapper is leading the revamped New York hip hop scene.

A$AP Rocky is currently preparing to release his LongLiveA$AP album and has done a lot in preparation of the project. With the album on the way, A$AP Rocky’s dream keeps getting better and better. First, he is approached by Rihanna to be featured on the “Cockiness (remix)” and then included in the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

The newcomer, A$AP Rocky would steal the show at the VMAs, as he would grab Rihanna on the rear during their performance. Again, a dream of most young males is to become a big time rapper and do just what A$AP Rocky did. Recently, A$AP Rocky talked about how much he loves touring, saying he loves the crowd. When speaking of his incident with Rihanna, he said “it just happened”
