Ab-Soul reveals tracklist for upcoming “Herbert” album; Features include Big Sean, Jhené Aiko, and more

Ab-Soul reveals “Herbert” tracklist

Ab-Soul has always been one of the most underrated talents, at Top Dawg Entertainment. He’s also been very low key for a while now, as he hasn’t released a project since 2016. That was with his “Do What Thou Wilt” album, which saw a number 34 debut on the Billboard 200 chart.

Howvever Ab-Soul has released four singles, in 2022. This includes “Gang’Nem” featuring Fre$h, “Do Better,” “Moonshooter,” and “Hollandaise.” His fifth studio album is also finally arriving on December 16.

On Wednesday, Ab-Soul went on to unveil the official cover art for Herbert, as well as the full tracklist. 18 songs will be available, including collaborations with Big Sean, Jhené Aiko, Russ, Joey Bada$$, and more. The title is named after Ab-Soul’s first name.

2022 has seen plenty of TDE artists finally end their album droughts. Kendrick Lamar released his first album since 2017, with “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” That was also Kendrick’s final album on TDE. This week, SZA is also releasing her first album since 2017, which is “S.O.S.” 2017 saw SZA release her debut studio album, “Ctrl.”
