Right now, Ab-Soul is probably the hottest rapper in the game. Back when TDE first began to receive major attention, a lot of people credited Ab-Soul as, lyrically, the hottest on the label roster. Despite this, it seemed like Ab-Soul was backburnered.
For the first time, the world is really getting to know Ab-Soul out of Twitter and he is getting a chance to explain himself. Ab-Soul explained to “The Breakfast Club” that he is a veteran on the label and that he has seniority. Because of this, he benefits whether he is the focal point or the backburner.
MTV News had the chance to catch up to Ab-Soul, as he is promoting the release of his new album, These Days… The new album is out and Ab-Soul is talking about some of everything. In this MTV clip, he speaks on ScHoolboy Q introducing him to Diddy and his influence on his career.
