Ab-Soul talks J. Cole, President Obama, and more with Hard Knock TV [VIDEO]

Kendrick Lamar helped put Top Dawg Entertainment on the map in 2012. The rapid increase in popularity for Kendrick Lamar opened up doors for not only the entire roster, but the entire Los Angeles hip hop scene. Ab-Soul is among the rappers who fall under both categories.
Game opened the door of Dr. Dre to Kendrick Lamar, which led to Interscope Records signing him and the entire TDE roster. This year, Ab-Soul still went forward with the release of his Control Sysyem album, doing so without a major label. But, in the near future, his major label debut will be in the works.
Hard Knock TV spoke to Ab-Soul and they covered several bases. Ab-Soul, along with his TDE label-mates, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q, are considered to be real lyricists.
