In the past, Ace Hood has proven he has what it takes to be a superstar in the rap game. If he does not have anything else, Ace Hood has the right team behind him. Since the start of his career, Ace Hood has had the support of DJ Khaled. By extension, Ace Hood has always had the support of Rick Ross and Fat Joe, along with many others.
Birdman recently completed his deal with DJ Khaled, which began in 2010. Signing DJ Khaled to his Cash Money Records, Birdman hoped to move the Khaled-owned and operated We the Best label to Cash Money. With the deal completed, Birdman now has direct access to Ace Hood, something he has wanted for some time.
Currently, Ace Hood is preparing his first album under We the Best/Cash Money. While he works on his album, Ace Hood continues to make his rounds. Recently Ace Hood performed at Radio One Fest and Club Dream. The footage was captured by Edgar Estevez, as Ace Hood performed in Miami, capturing footage of Waka Flocka Flame and others.
